So here's the deal. Everyone has software that they'd like to have; A great photo editor, a cool operating system, a really secure anti-virus application. But no one really wants to pay the hundreds of dollars for the new OS, the couple of hundred for everyone's favorite office suite, or a hundred or so to edit the home movies. At the end of the day, there are two ways around this: One is the torrents. The brand name programs you love, for free. Legal or not,(okay, likely not,) not everyone is comfortable with this approach. The second way is the free software that's out there that can replace a number of the brand name programs that we've been using for years.
